Explanation on club situation. Acknowledgement late payment of wages ‘totally unacceptable’. Basically spent too much. Funds for next season - statement says - now in place.

@WeahsCousin We did announce McClean’s contract didn’t we, but it said it was until 2023 rather than 2024?

So that’s now the top scorer, highest profile player and the at the time manager who all signed new deals without them being announced. Nothing they’ve done since promotion makes any sense. A board and ownership group all pulling in different directions.
