@ManishaKrishnan TY for writing about this issue. I am on a team that surveyed 600+ drug researchers about their lived experience. We're in the midst of publishing the outcomes, but it's clear that the majority who are PWUD would like to at least use their knowledge in crafting research topics.

I haven't been here for months, but want to say goodbye as I close out my acct. Sucks that a meglomaniac trashed it. It was a brilliant professional space to meet people. I learned a ton. I also absolutely appreciated the journalism here. Hope I see u on Threads: bad.academic.

To unpack it, to check for damage, we had to cut through this mess. We fixed the damage to the bike and we had to pay to have a new box built (it's not easy to find a trike box) and we shipped it, again. 4/

Bike Box: An Epic Journey. We got my father a trike so, at 80, he could keep riding after a bicycle accident wrecked his hip last winter. He lives in La Paz, MX. Box was sent through UPS directly to La Paz. 1/
