VIDEO: JustDatoun shares an emotional and heartfelt message of appreciation to President Tinubu for the successful rescue of the Orire school children and teachers Me: I sincerely appreciate Just Adetoun for this. It’s important to criticize when things go wrong, but it’s equally important to acknowledge and appreciate positive actions when they happen. It is distasteful to make mockery of men who left their families and spent days and nights in the thick forest, exposed to the elements, in the rescue operation of the Oyo k!dnap victims. Asking questions is not out of place, but drawing conclusions and trying to create the impression that it was a mere show when you do not have proof of it? Nah! You are w@rst than the k!dnappers. Respect these men for the sacrifices they make. Small rain wey b£at you, you go dey treat fever. These men spent days roughing it out in the thick forests at this peak of the rainy season, while you snored away the night.

Public figures who politicised the abduction of the Oriire children owe those brave kids a moral duty to have also publicised their rescue. Their silence is not golden. If you condemned Nigeria when there was a breakdown, shouldn't you also commend the country you claim to love when there is a breakthrough? If you are loud when bad happens in your fatherland and silent when good occurs in your motherland, perhaps you should reflect soberly with your conscience to find out why you take pleasure when Nigeria is under pressure, and feel grief when our nation finds relief. There is a common slogan: Drink responsibly. Perhaps we need a new one: Use your celebrity responsibly! May God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria!

I have not been a fan of the Tinubu government but tbh, for the very first time, I must commend his government. God bless him and the Nigerian force all together for the success of this rescue🥺 Although one thing I also noticed about his government before today is the fact that there have not been any serious or prolonged ASUU strike since his government began but due to the fact he’s not my preferred candidate, I pretend not to see that or acknowledge that. Today I’m acknowledging him for what happened yesterday, no Ransome was paid, in fact there was actually a strategy, a coordinated one, the Nigerian force came together, without being selfish with their lives to make the country proud. This is really commendable🥺

When this kidnap happened in Oyo State, some folks spent days performing outrage online, weaponising insecurity and trying to paint Nigeria as a collapsing state. They shouted and pushed narratives designed to demoralise citizens and the Armed Forces. Now, the kidnapped students and teachers have been rescued. Our security agencies delivered results while the noise‑makers were busy chasing clout. Guess what? THEY HAVE BEEN SILENT FOR 24 HOURS! THEY HAVE IGNORED THIS SUCCESS STORY! This week has exposed something important. There are people who thrive on chaos, who amplify fear, who jump on every incident to push fake outrage and sow division. They never acknowledge progress. They never apologise when proven wrong. They don’t care about victims. They care about engagement, trends, and whatever keeps their pages buzzing. But Nigerians are wiser now. We see the pattern clearly. We know those who stand for real security progress and those who only show up when there is an opportunity to drag the country. No amount of online theatrics can overshadow the efforts of the men and women of the NIGERIAN ARMED FORCES who protect this nation. Let the clout‑chasers continue with their hustle for outrage. Nigeria is moving forward. Nigeria will succeed!

The best National Security Adviser in Nigeria's history. This rescue was good. But if Nigerians knew the ones his office prevented from happening in the first place, we would show more appreciation for the NSA and the National Counter Terrorism Centre.
