Sad news… Longtime Radio NL Sports Director Rick “The Bear” Wile passed away last night at the age of 72. Inducted into the Kamloops Sports HOF in 2017, Bear was very dedicated to his craft over five decades. He developed a loyal following as the sports authority in Kamloops.

@JonKeenNLSports Bear was a great nick name for Rick, he was tenacious as a sports director at NL. I always look forward to the post game shows where the “Bear” was in his element His questions got right to the issues. He loved the Blazers! RIP.
