@itsAntWright The only thing that I’d be concerned about if I was a Michigan fan is the 37 combined turnovers in the games against Nebraska and Iowa. One night like that in tourney against a team with a hot shooting night and the dream season could come to a halt.

@lester1739 @AI_Bracketology If Purdue doesn't get past Illinois in that quarterfinals game and Iowa State beats Kansas (projected opponents). I think the margin between them will get even closer and that is when the head to head will come into play. Which seems like better than a 2% chance that happens.

Nebraska fell to UCLA but losses elsewhere keep a clear path to OKC ahead of them. Model updates attempt to factor in the marginal impact of thurs-fri conf tourney matchups + outcomes, which is why winning this weekend would not lock OKC.

Scenario guide heading into conf tourneys. STL, for example, requires Purdue to lose and Tech to win out. Buffalo would require some help.

@lester1739 I mean the committee had Iowa State as a 1 seed a few weeks ago and yes they've had some losses but Purdue has been pretty bad since then too. Plus the head to head wasn't even close and was at home for Purdue. Also from what I've seen today. Winter is possibly going to play?

@badker11 Purdue is ahead in every resume metric, every predictive besides BPI (9 vs 8), more Q1-a wins, Q1, better losses, better wins and has the opportunity to get another q1 win vs Winter-less Wisconsin this weekend while ISU has a q2 game. Would really need to value the H2H to pass.

@BracketNky Fair enough! I saw you said Nebraska stays a 3 only if the loss is to Michigan but if Nebraska beats Iowa to win one in the B10 tourney they’d likely avenge their loss to UCLA and then lose to Michigan state. So that would drop them down to a 4?

@RoccoMiller8 @LCHuskers Man that is just crazy how much of a stranglehold BYU has on the bracket and other teams first round games. Can’t imagine how mad Illinois fans would be if that stays true. Is BYU at any risk of dropping further on the seed line if they lose to Tech at home?

@LCHuskers STL is the preference, as all of the previous forecasts had for the Illini. This relocation was due to BYU needing to play in the WEST or SOUTH REGION with a Thursday/Saturday opening site. OKC was the logical replacement pod.
