@PovilasKorop I think it’s time to focus on concepts of software and code structure now more than ever The days of watching videos to remember syntax and the really low level stuff is with the LLMs now, but teaching the concepts like how to structure code is more important now than ever imho

When Laravel 13 is out, I'll reshoot most courses on Laravel Daily. But maybe time to rethink how courses even LOOK. In 2026, devs will ask AI instead of watching 1-hour (or, even worse, longer) course. So should courses be almost like a set of YouTube shorts? Still not sure.

@marcelpociot I would say I write around 10% of my code by hand still, most of my time now goes into understanding the business problem, not where a semicolon lives. its a rough time at the moment for people who “live” for the code, letting go is almost impossible for that kind of developer

2 1/2 months into 2026 we can now all agree that writing code is a solved problem, right?
