People mock the EU as “bureaucracy”. But that bureaucracy turned a continent of borders, currencies and wars into a space where 450 million people can travel, pay, call, study and work almost as if it were domestic. That is not boring. That is civilization becoming usable.

The Americans assumed responsibility for these guarantees. Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters has handed over the lists for one thousand POWs to the Russian side . There was American mediation in reaching this arrangement on the exchange, and accordingly, we expect the American side to play an active role in ensuring it’s fulfilled.” Trump must keep his promise and ensure this exchange. If the Ukrainians do not return home, there will be no point in us paying any further attention to the White House.

🇮🇹🇪🇺 Troubles are not over for Venice's Biennale expo after it allowed Russia to have a pavilion for the first time since its aggression against Ukraine. After the EU pulled its €2M grant to the event, 22 European culture and foreign ministers torpedoed the expo, and Italy's culture minister himself refused to show up - this morning it was the turn of Pussy Riot activists storming the Russian pavilion, chanting "Russia kills, Biennale exhibits." In the end, the pavilion won't even open to the public.

In Moscow earlier, participants of Russia`s WWII Victory Day were rehearsing, then a drone alert was given and rehearsal ended.

Because NATO isn’t America’s fan club. It’s a military alliance (with European majority) created in 1949 with the explicit mission to DEFEND against Russian aggression and expansionism. Your feelings were never part of the membership criteria. Finland is one of the most capable members NATO has ever gained: a strong and capable military and a population with zero illusions about what Russia is. The latter cannot be said about the current administration.

🇩🇰🔴Denmark is now forging ahead with deportations with a new law. The left-wing Social Democrat Mette Frederiksen celebrated the move, stating: "They rape girls and women. They are involved in gang crime and drug offenses. Unfortunately, we have not yet been able to deport them. This is primarily due to the interpretation of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR)." Now, this is set to change. She says Denmark is not waiting for the ECHR anymore. All migrants who have been sentenced to one year or more in prison must return to their home country automatically. There will be no case review.
