@2rdn2 @boringcompany Fast transportation from the airport to heavily visited areas. And much cheaper than an Uber or Taxi too.

How boomers feel after they: - Bought a house for $15k - Sold it 30 years later for $2 million - Got hired without having a college degree - Retired right before AI takes everyone's job

@LindberghAF @indexnforgetit You folks are depressing to listen. Not only are you perpetual victims, but you confidently make wildly inaccurate claims like this and think you sound smart. @grok What’s the cheapest and most expensive meal deal at Chikfila for an adult?

Saludos 🫡

Boomers built houses with 2x4s and a handshake. Gen Z needs a lawyer, an environmental study, and a 47-page permit application. Then they wonder why young people can't afford homes. The institution isn't the solution. It's the tax.

Ok. I hope you’re joking. If not, seek treatment. You’ve been propagandized to believe nonsense. It’s easy to own multiple properties today if you educate yourself on how to do it. Plenty of young folks and older folks who did indeed struggle, who start with very little do it all the time, and they become wealthy in the process.

@bairdg3 @antibearthesis Yes every boomer had it easy even in third world countries. The only reason some might not be lucky was because they didn’t cared not even slightly. Yes we have more technology to make our life easier now but back then it was easy to own multiple properties.

Trade school? Just like he said. They’re still out there begging for good workers and paying them accordingly. A friends son spent $6k for a year to then start a job at $65k. Another is in a paid free 4 year program with a job guarantee at the other end. Get a couple of years experience and go out on your own. You’ll double your income. I know how much college was pushed on our younger generations as the only option. I tried to preach to my students that college was only one option.

Sanctuary cities explained for people who think they're saving lives New York City is the biggest sanctuary city in the country. $5.2 billion spent on migrants since 2022. 6,947 criminal aliens released in a single year despite active ICE detainers. 29 homicides, 2,509 assaults, 300 weapons, 207 sexual predatory offenses. ICE sent a letter to the Attorney General listing every name and charge. Asked her to stop releasing them. She didn't respond. They'd rather stick it to Trump than protect their own people. They protest No Kings and march for rights then defy the same Constitution they claim to be defending. The Constitution prohibits states from restricting communication with federal immigration authorities. The Supremacy Clause says federal law prevails. They do it anyway. They invented a "judicial warrant" requirement that doesn't exist anywhere in immigration statute to justify releasing criminals. They made up a standard and built a machine around it. Seventeen states. Over 200 cities. Openly defying the Constitution. In 1832, South Carolina tried to nullify federal law. Andrew Jackson called it an "abominable doctrine." That was one state. This is seventeen. Last time states decided federal law didn't apply to them, it cost 600,000 lives. Anti-constitutional. Anti-citizen. Anti-American. 26,000 criminal aliens released despite detainers since October 2022. Sheridan Gorman was 18. Walking with friends near campus. A man in a mask shot her in the back. She died on the beach. Her killer crossed illegally, got caught, released, arrested in Chicago, released again. Active warrant for years. They had him in custody. ICE wanted him. They let him go. Let's stick it to Trump and ICE. Cost: Her life. They memorialize every name ICE touches. They don't mention the ones their policies put in the ground. Under Biden, 500,000 unaccompanied children crossed the border. The government lost 320,000 of them. Kids sent to sponsors with MS-13 ties. A 16-year-old pulled into a meat-processing machine. Thousands of trafficking leads buried in backlogged files. The Inspector General was asked if the Biden administration could vet sponsors for criminals. "No, they were prohibited from doing so." You can't find a trafficked child when local police are banned from asking who someone is. Tell me again how this protects families. They blame billionaires and AI for killing jobs. Their own policies are a bigger threat. Bernie Sanders called open borders "a Koch brothers proposal." Said it would "make everybody in America poorer." Said Wall Street wants people working for $2 or $3 an hour. His party is doing exactly what he warned about. And calling you a racist for agreeing with him. They don't do it for billionaires. They do it for votes. More people means more census counts means more congressional seats means more power. The working class figured it out. The poorest counties in America vote Republican now. The people Democrats claim to fight for left them. Free college for every American kid: $60 billion a year. Illegal immigration: $150 billion. You could fund free college two and a half times over. Instead they kicked 4,000 students out of a New York high school and went fully remote so 1,900 migrants could sleep in the gym. Cut the education budget by $1 billion. Chicago spent $574 million on migrants, raised property taxes $300 million, then removed citizens from city council when they complained. Ro Khanna, Bernie and Elizabeth Warren want the big, evil billionaires to pay their fair share. While they spend $150 billion making you the free lunch for people who aren't supposed to be here. There is no free lunch. You are the lunch. Obama deported over 5 million in eight years. Every sanctuary city cooperated. Same law. Same detainers. Trump takes office. They all stopped. The law didn't change. The president changed. When the Laken Riley Act came up, every single no vote was a Democrat. They saw the body count. And voted no. Hollywood made a movie where the heroes bomb their neighbors to protect illegal immigrants from ICE. Thirteen Oscar nominations. Best Picture. That's the machine. Every murder. Every missing child. Every dollar. Every student kicked out of school. All of it could have been avoided. They chose this. Not because the law demanded it. Because they'd rather let people die than work with a Republican president. A 12-year-old girl lured under a bridge, tied up for two hours, strangled, and thrown into a creek. The men who did it were caught at the border and released into your neighborhood. Call it whatever you want. It's insurrection against the law, against the citizen, against you. I hope you understand what's at stake.

Posts like this exemplify why 99% of the population does not understand supply/demand A beer and tenders are $43 because people like this guy willingly pay that much For that reason, they are appropriately priced. If people collectively decided to not buy concessions, prices would drop. (This would never happen of course) Complaining like this is the same thing as punching yourself in the face while simultaneously wondering why your face hurts.

Hot take: I shouldn’t have to buy a cheap duplex or “starter home” that doesn’t suit my needs to get into the housing market. I should just be able to buy a reasonably priced home with a good yard and a few bedrooms like my grandparents did and keep it forever.
