If you can recall a time when you played Magic and these creatures were considered really powerful, I'll bet you had a fun childhood! ...also you most likely wake up every morning with a sore back nowadays.

She beautiful. And a brilliant actress I wish she was in more films. But she's an inappropriate choice for this role. The audience can only stretch its imagination so far. Sorry.
Benjamin Gorman@teachergorman

A bunch of chuds saw Lupita Nyong'o, one of the most beautiful women ever, was cast to play Helen of Troy, one of the most beautiful women ever, and their response was to start an online war ... proving she is the perfect pick to play a woman so beautiful she started a war!

@HistorianUSA1 The problem with kids is they lie(adults too) so how do we know he is innocent? Did he instigate it? Not saying shes lying but the amount of times my kids lie to stay out of trouble is batting a 1000.

MOM DROPS TRUTH BOMB: Her 14yo son SUSPENDED for the REST OF THE SCHOOL YEAR after getting PUSHED + PUNCHED in the face (bloody nose) by another kid. He defended himself — slammed the bully & used his jiu-jitsu. School: “Zero tolerance.” Mom: “We’re NOT raising snowflakes. If someone puts hands on you, you have FULL permission to knock them the f*ck out.” Polk County, GA — is this your policy?Punish the defender, protect the aggressor? Parents — be honest: Was her son RIGHT to fight back? Or should he have just taken the abuse like a “good boy”? What would YOU do if YOUR kid got suspended for defending himself?

Hey @Wizards I was considering getting back into MtG because Commander looks fun, so I thought I’d try to pick up the Goblin Storm Secret Lair because it’s two of my favorite themes. Go home during lunch, load the site at 11:55 EST, get told it will be more than an hour for checkout at noon, try to create an account so maybe I can transfer the wait time to my phone (you can’t and props to not being able to create an account with “gmail” cuz who has heard of them amirite?), take my dog outside cuz I’ve got time to spare apparently, come back and it’s sold out at 12:34 EST. I was in the process of crafting my own deck (Aurelia Warleader), but why should I spend money on WotC if you don’t want it. Thanks for reminding me why I got out of MtG.

If you're a grown man playing video games for more than 5 hours a week, your wife is definitely checked out of the marriage. Put the controller down and go build something or play with your kids. it’s embarrassing.

To those thinking of moving to Japan, let me be honest with you. On the train, we don't talk on the phone. In a quiet street, we don't shout. At a restaurant, we wait in line — even when no one is watching. We bow to strangers. We pay before we receive. We apologize before we explain. These aren't rules. There's no law for any of them. They are just 1,500 years of small daily promises we keep, without being asked. If you can love that, you will love Japan. And Japan will love you back. If you can't, please — think it through carefully. For your sake, and ours. 🇯🇵

@ZexuFang @rushicrypto As a person who works data centers. They dont actually employee many people. Night crews may only be 1-5 folks for very large DCs. Even day time its like 20. These buildings do not provide the “jobs jobs jobs” your talking about

@rushicrypto As to - "WTF are they ACTUALLY doing on that land?!" Jobs. Jobs. Jobs. Here in America. The internet is here to stay. And Amazon/Microsoft/Google are all part of the *surveillance state*. Would you rather have these centers built (and run) in China? That is all.

The largest data center in the world is in Hohhot, China, and is 230 acres. Utah just approved the building of a 40,000 acre data center. That’s 62.5 square miles. WTF are they ACTUALLY doing on that land?!

@Mid30sManhattan My guess is week one numbers are good with a very steep fall of the next week. Unless these terrible castings have almost no screen time and the movies actually good outside of them, then it will likely do well. Its really gonna depend on how much they ruin the movie

To be eligible to win Best Picture at the Oscars… 1. At least 1 Non-White/Non-Straight lead or Significant Role. 2. At least 30% minor roles Non-White/Non-Straight people. 3. At least 2 Departments headed by Non-White/Non-Straight people. This is why Nolan did it. Coward.

LA City Council just told LAPD they can't pull anyone over anymore for expired tags, dead tail lights, cracked windshields, busted mirrors, illegal tint, loud exhaust, or missing plates. Why? Because out of 72,000 stops in three years, 86% were Black or Latino drivers. So if your car is busted, you're now invisible to the LAPD. Congratulations. This rule is intended to reduce discriminatory policing and build community trust.
