Revisions took so long they had to mummify the first author

The moment one of the coffins was opened to reveal a Mummy; under the supervision of Archaeologist Dr Mostafa Waziri (Secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities of Egypt). Mummy (4300 year old) was discovered in May 2020, from the Mummy Workshop, Saqqara, Egypt. Archaeologists and officials are shown examining the newly discovered coffins, some of which were opened for the first time in 2500 years. The opening of these coffins revealed perfectly preserved mummies inside, offering valuable insights into ancient Egyptian burial practices. 🎥© egyptian_civilization_ (IG) #archaeohistories
