20 years ago today ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ premiered on CBS. The show stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus and became both a commercial and critical success, winning Julia an Emmy. The show is credited with breaking the “Seinfeld curse”, which was based on actors from the show not being able to land “successful” post-Seinfeld projects.

Kiri (the actor) was 76 yrs old while spider was just 15. Sigourney Weaver and Jack Champion were unable to act the kissing scene due to the significant real-life age difference The scene was handled carefully to comply with intimacy rules and ensure comfort. So both kiri and spider (the actors) had to kiss someone else while CGI/motion capture was used to complete the rest of the scene.

I hate having to explain that its not that i prefer Starbucks over a local chain, its that I prefer the ease of a drive thru. More local coffee places should have drive thrus. Not that it matters since both @Starbucks on ny commute have been closed for weeks because of the strike
