BREAKING: ACLU Legal Director Cecillia Wang is at the Supreme Court right now arguing against Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship.
She claims that if Trump’s executive order is upheld, it will create chaos. Thousands of babies will instantly lose their citizenship, and the government could start questioning the citizenship of millions of Americans past, present, and future.
Guys, this is what we're dealing with. You and I both know the objective here is not for the safety of the American people or voters.

If you really hate birthright citizenship, propose a new amendment to clarify that the 14th amendment applies only to the children of mothers here legally with the intention of long-term residence.
I don’t know if that passes, but it absolutely has very real support.

The way to fix birthright citizenship is if a nonciten gives birth, the child is removed from their custody and put in an orphanage.
You do this a few times and people will be extremely careful not to give birth over here.
It might even be ugly enough that Congress might be forced to act.

You guys understand we’re going to lose the birthright citizenship case, right? Before you completely freak out, the traditional understanding of the 14th Amendment, which we are seeking to change, is not an insane reading of it. Nor are our arguments insane like the left has been same. That’s baloney to just shut us up. Neither side is frivolous. It’s a tough call legally and objectively speaking. But when we lose it, and I think we will, don’t freak out that this is some sort of conspiracy. It’s a hard legal decision. Sadly, we have three judges who aren’t even going to try to examine the question and will always vote for what leftists want. But the rest of the court has to make a tough legal call. I think our reading is the correct one. For various reasons, I think they’re going to rule against us. Don’t freak out when they do. It’s not an utterly irrational ruling like so many of the district court opinions we’ve seen.
