Man it’s brutal seeing this kid throw away a slam dunk win… assuming the offer is real which I have my suspicions. This is one of those once in a lifetime opportunities. This is a fork in the road if he does not make his businesses successful I’ve seen a few people make the same decision but it leads down the path of pain and misery. It’s one of those few decisions you make in your life that are truly impactful. Turning down $1 million at his age is just beyond stupid. Dude, that money will literally change your life forever. You have no guarantee that you will be able to build your businesses past their current state. There’s plenty of people that I’ve never broke in the ceiling 20k a month MRR That requires skill and luck Dude just please take the money. I’m having trouble putting into words just how stupid of a decision you’re making right now is. Like I can’t even begin to understand And the reasons you’re using to turn the offer down are completely meaningless “I can build it bigger!” - And you could also do that for a better idea/saas. Why this one in particular? “Because it has traction!” Yeah traction is not static. It expands and contracts based on 195+ business variables. It has traction *right now* it will inevitably decline in the future. Everything grows and dies. There’s no such thing as forever growth. “I’m believing in myself!” - no you’re making an emotional irrational decision to make yourself feel special or important. If you truly believe in yourself, then you can believe in yourself with any business not the specific one. You aren’t Steve Jobs. You aren’t Jeff Bezos. Knock it off with the ego. Take the wins when you get them because the future isn’t guaranteed. There’s a big difference between believing in yourself and being arrogant and overestimating your abilities. If you believe in yourself then you don’t need that particular business to succeed. Is that business all you eat sleep and dream about 24 hours a day? Would you sacrifice everything to make it successful? Are you so completely and utterly absorbed and infatuated by the business and the problem you’re solving? No? Then why the fuck do you need to work on this business? Why can’t you take the money and start another idea? You will eventually get bored of running this business. It’s better to exit now at the peak then desperately try to get an exit years later. All that to say: Bro take the fucking money. If you don’t you will regret this decision later unless you turn it all around and get lucky with a future business. But there’s also a chance you’re just using this for publicity and now that the offer isn’t real from Sahil and are just using this to grow your Account. If that’s the case good for you I guess. Not how I would do it. But it works. Just makes you look stupid and like a bad investment. Also makes you look like an easy to manipulate target. It’s frustrating to see him take some bs
