Citizens are smart and intelligent. They will never be hukuwinked by failed Politicians with ZERO Political capital. They have the ability and wisdom to discern the genuine from the fake. To them they know who their leader is and are patiently waiting for him. We have reached an interesting phase in our Politics whereby publicly supporting NC is classified as "Bootlicking" whilst criticizing NC is classified as being "rational, objective and intellectual". We understand the frustration of them when the name NC is mentioned for it is ONLY on social media they find relevance to express their anger. Challenge them to visit the villages, farms, towns and gather people communicating their hatred ndopaunoona why they behave as such. Our association or participation in Politics was and remains voluntary. Our choices amidst a lot of Political options are also voluntary just as many others can make theirs. We reserve the right to make our choices without being blackmailed . For now we make this point unapologetically that NC remains the ONLY best foot forward in sofar as the alternative to Zanu PF is concerned. It is insane to blame him for the actions of adults . The same process that produced present day betrayers also produced solid characters. Ironically those making the most noise about the "process" also voluntarily submitted to same process but never raised any concern at the material time. It is never about the process but individual choices of adults. By parity of reasoning can we blame Mugabe for the actions of his erstwhile cdes in 2017? Can we blame Tsvangirai for the actions of those who crossed over to Zanu PF during his time? But again for now they will pretend not to see all this for their hatred towards the people's choice is Legendary but painfully so they can't transmit same to the people.

Public hearings are not enough, we need a referendum, says Godfrey Salani a Chipinge resident while making his contribution on Constitutional Amendment Number 3 Bill #CAB3

CHARADES, NOT HEARINGS!!What were supposed to be CITIZENS’ public hearings on the constitutional amendment bill have turned out to be a circus of choreographed, coached, and rehearsed ZANU (PF) slogans and rallies. The “outreach” has become an “in-reach” for a ZANU violent circus to reproduce their own contrived voices. This is nothing but a desperate attempt to create MANUFACTURED consent and lie that the CITIZENS support this otherwise hugely unpopular Bill.
The chaotic and shambolic outreach meetings are nothing but ZANU (PF) DCC-coerced gatherings. Citizens must reclaim their voice, power, and authority to be heard and to matter once more. Only a CONSTITUTIONAL settlement to this constitutional crisis, and a citizen government, is the only credible and bankable solution to the problems affecting Zimbabwe.
Disputed elections and national processes is the starting point to the resolution of the crisis. WE, THE CITIZENS, are the ANSWER.

Fellow CITIZENS, I’m focused on the main show, finding a national solution to #CAB3, not distractions or sideshows. My leadership effort and focus is on our plans and a FRESH START path ahead. The die is cast. I say and act with integrity, purpose and in your best interests. Everything I do is grounded in accountability, responsibility, and the national interest. Ignore the sting operations and machinations meant to push a false narrative founded on malice and lies. God bless you.~Forever and always nc

Rutendo is not really fighting ZANU PF on the Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 but he is merely sharing his thoughts in this ninety day window in which the public must comment. The question that must be asked is why is it Rutendo’s comments have been taken so negatively and caused so many problems? #CAB3

IN TIMES of oppression and dictatorship, the civic duty and patriotic act of progressive students, journalists, intellectuals, and professionals becomes greater, not smaller.
1. Debate issues, not personalities.
2. Speak truth to power.
3. Defend the interests of the citizens.
4. Preserve facts, truth, and professional integrity.
5. Refuse trinkets, bribes, and complicity.
6. Encourage citizens courage, not fear.
7. Expose injustice without hatred or prejudice.
8. Encourage not discourage or demonize the symbols of the struggle.
9. Stand firmly on the side of freedom, dignity, and the citizens.
What else do you add ?

APPRECIATING YOUR LOVE …i have been going through your heartwarming messages. I am overjoyed and grateful for all the birthday messages, public and private.
I have been in this world for 48 years, and of these, 28 have been actively dedicated to national duty, public service, and citizens’ assignments, opposing oppression and dictatorship for almost my entire youth and adult life.
What fortifies and strengthens me is your unparalleled outpouring of love and the multiplicity of gifts you have sent me…gifts of encouragement, of wisdom and insight, of warmth and solidarity, of counsel, of best wishes, of prayers, but, more importantly, the gift of life itself.
You continue to lift my hands, being that dependable support system.
You are the winds to my wings. Birthdays are a reminder to celebrate life and the One who gave it, God Almighty. They are moments to pause, reflect, and take stock of our gains and pains, our hits and misses.
Being alive is not an achievement; it is a divine gift, an endowment, a blessing. This, in itself, is evidence of divine providence.
This month, I will be sharing reflections about my journey and setting the record straight as part of my February reflections. God bless you all!
