📢 We're so happy to hear that @BarclaysUK have dumped Elbit Systems. Kudos to @Pal_action @PSCupdates @BDSmovement @bands_boycott and others whose actions are a huge reason for this. Meanwhile, we're waiting for @Royal_Greenwich to do the right thing and divest council pension funds away from genocide complicit companies and institutions. أُجبر بنك باركليز على سحب رعايته لمهرجان The Great Escape في عام 2025 بعد أن قاطعه أكثر من ربع الفنانين المشاركين في مهرجان 2024 بسبب علاقات البنك بتمويل الحرب الإسرائيلية على غزة. مجموعة من الفنانين، بلغ عددهم أكثر من 130حيث ألغوا مشاركتهم احتجاجًا على استثمارات باركليز في شركات تبيع الأسلحة للجيش الإسرائيلي. وقد أعلنت حملة المقاطعة نجاحها في دفع البنك للخروج من المهرجان، مؤكدة أن هذا يعكس تأثير المقاطعة كاستراتيجية لتعطيل الدعم المالي للجيش الإسرائيلي. رغم نجاح حملة المقاطعة في مهرجان The Great Escape، لا يزال وضع شراكة بنك باركليز مع مهرجانات أخرى غير واضح. وبدعوة الفنانين لمحاولة منع رعاية البنك، يتم إطلاق تعهد يسعى إلى منع التعاون مع أي مهرجان مرتبط بباركليز، لتأكيد عدم استخدام موسيقاهم كغطاء لدعم بنك يمول الإبادة الجماعية. وشددت الحملة على أهمية التنسيق المستمر لممارسة الضغط على باركليز لدفعه للخروج من صناعة الموسيقى بالكامل.
