4/ Also, saving and opening projects works, and the format is compatible with the original Microsoft Visual Basic 6 (to a certain degree)! The GIF below showcases the project from the first GIF with *zero* modifications.

@AvaloniaUI Ah Avalonia Accelerate 98 - fond memories. Quite an upgrade from AA 95! I actually think Avalonia Assistant was really useful!

Not sure our designer is going to approve of this change in creative direction, but maybe if we get enough likes, we can make the argument 🤪

@bandysc_ @wieslawsoltes This look was close to peak usability. We never realised the importance of broad keyboard access out of the box and clearly defined UI boundaries until they were gone. This aesthetic needs to come back.

@wieslawsoltes @thexamlguy I am afraid it is even worse than that - I've tested few different Skia options and neither seems to fix this, I guess this is the best we can get with Skia.

Classic.Avalonia.Theme NuGet published! Looks pretty convincing to me! Let's embrace the classic look and feel together and use it in apps 🔥

@Deadpikle It was a Windows 3.x theme, wasn't it? Converting 9x themes is very easy, but in this case I think the easiest way would be to just manually configure the colors like here: <github.com/BAndysc/Classi…> PR welcome :)

@wieslawsoltes By the way, whoever created the original "basic color" palette was either blind or just a troll, literally these colors are the worst choice ever. But this is part of the charm, innit?

The VB6 was nice but Avalonia is just new classic and can run everywhere (Desktop, Mobile, Web and TVs) and using #csharp #dotnet #xaml #avalonia #fluent #basic

Hey @AvaloniaUI, check out my app! WoWDatabaseEditor - an IDE for TrinityCore server was showcased some time ago at Avalonia, since then the UI has been slightly upgraded to look even more modern :-)
