@Storytime888 Compared to other countries, Japan has very few shooting cases, so I think this small sig was chosen because it can be managed without excessive firepower.

@banetoti2 Neat. That looks like a SW semi auto. I think I saw somewhere that the Sig 230 was a service gun in Japan. Why did your police force decide on such small sidearms? Sigs are great. I have two. I changed my grips to the thick Hogue monogrips and got the slides cut for optics.

@banetoti2 Yeah. Though part of the weight also comes from the shotgun being dual action so it has hardware for both, on top of being very robust. The weight does also tame the recoil. I can routinely fire 100 to 200 full power shells without feeling discomfort.

@DukeNukem1996 It looks heavy, but it's designed to be practical.

@banetoti2 It’s definitely a heavy shotgun. Not sure how practical it would be in real life but it’s actually useable. I could even aim with it because it does stabilize the shotgun well.

@Storytime888 Empty guns are urban legends. In fact, when the Japanese police unified it into a 5-shot revolver, it was derived from the fact that one shot was removed to match the number of 6-shot cylinder bullets that were used in parallel. Therefore, the current revolver is fully loaded.

@banetoti2 I've seen that. It rekindled my desire for a SVT-40, and had this rifle not appeared at a fairly reasonable price, I would have bought the airsoft version.
