@baracuda That is pretty interesting. Wave clouds often form downstream from mountain tops. Air rises and falls, like an ocean wave as it flows over ridges. That cloud must have been on the crest of the wave, where it condensed into a small cloud.

@nwsportland I spotted an interesting lenticular this afternoon over Mt. Hood. View is looking south from White Salmon. I was surprised by how offset from the peak the cloud is.
