31 July 1919 | Primo Levi was born in Turin. An Italian Jewish writer & chemist. From 26 February 1944 a prisoner of the German Nazi #Auschwitz camp (no. 174517). He suervived. In September 1947 he published his book "If this is a man". He passed away in 1987.

MPs have just voted 213 - 47 to support @RupaHuq's cross-party bill to put a stop to protests outside abortion clinics. Just the first step for the bill - but great to see such support for women being able to access healthcare without fear of harassment or intimidation. #BackOff
