@IGGUganda has arrested Ms. Atim Mega, a senior Agricultural Engineer of Apac District Local Government for allegedly uttering a false document. Ms. Atim recorded a statement today at the IG Lira Regional Office and will appear before court in Apac district on 26th, May, 2026. According to investigations, in May 2024 Ms. Atim applied for the post of Senior Agricultural Engineer with Apac District Local Government and was appointed. However, the appointment letter as Agricultural Engineer dated 3rd February, 2020, from Itek-Okille Farmers’ Cooperative Society which she submitted as part of her work experience and the basis upon which she was appointed, was disowned by the leadership of the Institution and declared a forgery as she has never worked with them.
