@JeffreykBrace I always felt my tombstone would read: For Fucks sake Bob (husband was British).

@KerryDaley2 Yes. She had just come to palliative care the day prior. She didn’t want to hang around there.

@barbinpei @BraedenSorbo Having schizophrenia does not make you certifiable. Please inform yourself.
English

I have not seen anybody talking about what’s going on in Canada right now.
This man was pulled over and told by police that he had to come with them because a psychiatrist labeled him “certifiable.”
No paperwork, no rule of law, just a doctor saying that if he didn’t come with him right then and there that he would be arrested.
The fact that a government could do this is terrifying.

@strongtea506 @BraedenSorbo I quote two: Queen Vs. John James Rooney and Queen vs. Michel Safadi. Look them up and educate yourself please.
English

@strongtea506 @BraedenSorbo I am very well informed. Untreated schizophrenia can make people a danger to themselves and others. I have covered the murder trials. Thanks!

@leafsgirl36 I was very lucky I loved all food but mom would have to strain the gravy and so forth for the boys 😝

@barbinpei We were not allowed to leave the table until we ate all of our supper. There were many nights I had to gag down, mashed potatoes and canned peas. We weren’t allowed to have another glass of milk to help or water. To this day, I cannot eat, homemade mashed potatoes or canned peas.

My brother had food issues.
One night he refused to eat his supper in front of dad (onions probably).
Dad said we will sit here until you eat it.
So they sat and stared at each other until bedtime.
Dad said: you’ll have it for breakfast.
By breakfast, dad had forgotten about it.

Be honest because I’m proving a point When you were a child if you didn’t want to eat what your mother made for dinner What happened?
English

@barbinpei That’s just way too young. A parent should never have to bury their children.

@barbinpei I have a pot like the one on the left and I'll give you a good deal... it's a start

@CeciliaOberhol2 I found our woods magical: Emyvale was magical. I knew every tree by name and had various trees for various activities (orange eating tree, crying tree). I never stopped reading too and I often wrote stories about my family, which they discovered no matter how well hidden.
English

@barbinpei Yep, I'm old enough too to have spent lots of time outdoors on our small holding or piece of property growing up in South Africa. With multiple fruit trees and the pack of dogs & pit bulls and cats. Also random wildlife.
I also had an extensive library to read.
Was never bored.
English

The woods was full of mysterious goings on.

People who grew up without internet, how did you deal with boredom at home?
