I think Saffron is right. As someone who has brewed lists to get 7 and 8 wins in PTs and 6-2 in worlds in the past few years can def say it's the predictability of the meta that allows you to attack it. Less info pushes you more towards just playing a basic good deck since you can't really predict which good decks will be over/ underrepresented that weekend which means you can't metagame/brew to exploit that imbalance.
