The case, dating back to February 2025, involves the Algerian man threatening the woman with a knife. He then began raping the woman while filming much of the rape on his smartphone. The rape reportedly lasted for hours. Eventually, the woman was able to call for help, at which time the perpetrator fled before being arrested. The Algerian migrant has no fixed address and has a long criminal record. He is also facing charges in Bielefeld for another crime.
