BREAKING: Nigerian Army troops have dealt a heavy blow to terrorists along the AKK Pipeline corridor in Niger State, eliminating several fighters during intense gun battles near Kafin Koro. Troops crushed a counterattack, forcing fleeing terrorists to abandon a PKM machine gun, AK-47 rifle, over 800 rounds of ammunition, motorcycles and communication equipment. Zero casualty on the side of troops as clearance operations continue. 🇳🇬🔥

How many of the Hausa in Awka is putting mouth in the local politics to the extent of fighting it online? Upon all the Yoruba and Hausa in Awka, none of them are doing that. Are we the only ones that live outside Igbo land? Ifele a na emedikwa anyi?
PABLO OF UNN🦁@chudy_jnr

But Nze if I live and work in a state where all the policies of the state government affect my lifestyle, why should I be restricted from putting my mouth into the politics there?

She didn’t explicitly say this snack is called Aadun from the Ijebu people. The people who responded are not stupid, she only made a joke that looked like a reference to Ijebu people & stamped Aadun at the beginning of the post. A non‑Yoruba person wouldn’t know that’s the name.
Kayode@K_Basharr

Chiamaka, Aproko doctor’s wife, for the first time, came across a dish and made a video on the preparation. She referenced its name and origin. Some tribalists have been shouting on the post, attempting to bully her. It’s a pity seeing what some of you are doing with your youth

A book titled “Igbo Cookbook: Authentic Recipes” containing Ayamase, Ofada sauce, Efo riro, Ewedu, Gbegiri, Asun, Akara, Moi Moi, Ata dindin, Buka stew, Ogi, Boli and some other Yoruba dishes is exactly why people become hypervigilant about cultural attribution. Then people act confused when Yoruba people push back, like in the Aadun incident that just happened here. You cannot spend years downplaying Yoruba cuisine, suddenly switch to “shared heritage,” then package a large chunk of Yoruba food under an “Igbo cookbook” label. Even some Hausa, Efik and Ibibio dishes are inside too. At that point, people are going to start noticing a pattern. If this was titled “Nigerian Cookbook” or “West African Cookbook” and dishes were properly attributed by origin, nobody would care.
