Brazil Bans Prediction Markets, Blocks Kalshi and Polymarket
Brazil has imposed a sweeping ban on prediction markets and related betting platforms, with Kalshi and Polymarket now inaccessible in the country. The central bank said such platforms do not comply with derivatives regulations and pose risks to investor protection and market integrity, while Finance Minister Dario Durigan stated that around 28 platforms are covered by the ban.

It corrupts your capacity for sustained attention. Books become harder, conversations feel slower, your own thoughts start to bore you. Over time, the range of things that can hold your interest narrows until you’re left with a shrinking circle of stimulation that only the algorithm can satisfy.
It erodes your relationship to yourself. Curiosity fades. Compassion requires a kind of patient attention that atrophies. You stop wondering what you care about because the question itself feels effortful. What’s left is a stable, “comfortable” numbness. Not only five years subtracted from your life, but a slow hollowing out of the person who would have lived them.

Sure, whatever you say. I literally drew the leg down we're currently in back in November.
I drew a $30k move down from $110k to low 80s. What we got so far was a $25k move down from $98k to $73k. Pretty damn close for a forecast months in advance.
