“Small and beautiful” because “big and audacious” also equals expensive. Interesting to see how this impacts their higher ed investments along the belt and road.

That said, the odds are good this new ranking will be a better measure of some metrics we all agree are better indicators of impact and success--and less reliant on the old ones we all love to bemoan but have been ineffective at changing. So lessons to be learned for sure.
