The Chancellor today announced that the Retail, Leisure and Hospitality relief scheme in England will run for one more year in 2023/24 and will give eligible business 75% relief up to a cap of £110k per business. See news section of our website barrsandco.com @BHHPA

Business Rates Revaluation. Following successful BHHPA branch meetings at East Anglia, Southern Counties and Yorkshire Inland I look forward to speaking to Cumbria Branch on Thursday this week with news about the coming rates revaluation. @BHHPA

Budget news. As expected Chancellor announces move from 5 yearly to 3 yearly business rates revaluations after the next reveal in 2023.

Budget news. Chancellor also announces investment in commercial property improvements/extensions will be exempt from business rates increases for 12 months. More detail needed but potentially this would include holiday park development.

Budget news. Chancellor announces leisure and hospitality businesses including holiday parks will get a further 50% COVID rates relief from April 2022 until 2023.

Caravan Park Business Rates. The VOA have begun sending out forms to parks for the next revaluation in 2023. Important to complete carefully. As before we offer BH&HPA members a free form checking service. Call us for advice. @BHHPA

Budget News. Today the chancellor announced a further 3 months full business rates relief for parks in England followed by a discount of up to 2/3rds for the rest of the year. Full details of the discount yet to be announced.
