@OcetfoC My information is correct as I receive every other email they sent. Yet I did not receive an email containing any information about compensation I will receive.

@barrypow22 You bring up a good point- this is a recruitment and retention issue. If I can go to a Board next door and not have my Prep essentially given to me in the form of short potty breaks, why wouldn’t I do it?

Any other Elem Teachers out there work in Boards where you have 20min Prep periods scheduled, or 20min stand-alone DPA periods, or any kind of transitioning to other Teachers after a 20min period? Pretty sure it’s extremely rare, would love to hear about it. DMs ok too. #onted

@barrypow22 @ONT_Dad You are in a thread about whining about extracurricular activities expectations if the MOE right, I checked you are. I personally don’t care what you people do as long as you do your job. The community should be expected to pick up the slack.

@Karen67470875 @ONT_Dad No I organize and run extra curricular on my own. 10 sports teams a year. I love every minute of it. Thanks for asking!!

@barrypow22 @ONT_Dad You NEVER had community support and yes you are saying you are a victim because you think extracurricular activities aren’t your job and whining about the MOE saying they need to be back in schools. So yeah, you play the victim pretty perfectly.

@barrypow22 @ONT_Dad I am informed I have gone into schools and run lunch time extracurricular programs. Parents and community have been actively discouraged from running programs and you know it. But keep telling yourself you are a victim or some such nonsense

@Karen67470875 @ONT_Dad You are very wrong. I have never had any community support volunteers run extra curricular programs. It has all been the educators in that school. So please inform yourself.

@ONT_Dad I think it’s about getting the community, volunteers back in schools, something teachers don’t appreciate much. I don’t think it’s the job of teachers. But I could be very wrong.
