Слишком высокие запросы. Не такой нос. Толстая жопа. Жидкие волосы. И еще длинный список того, что со мной «не так». Однажды мне даже сказали, что если бы не мой подбородок… А потом я переехала во Францию. И вдруг выяснилось, что я «красивая». «Потрясающая». «Богиня». «Великолепная». Sublime. «Луч солнца». Merveilleuse… И никаких «но». Не знаю, дело ли в стране или просто в людях, которых я встретила. Но именно тогда я поняла одну простую вещь. Мы гораздо сильнее нуждаемся не в оценках внешности, а в добрых словах. Иногда человеку достаточно перестать объяснять, что с ним не так, и просто сказать, что он красивый. Потому что нос, подбородок, веснушки, морщинки — это не недостатки. Это то, что делает тебя собой. Тем самым человеком, которого однажды кто-то полюбит именно за эти черты.

Rule of thumb: When Zelensky is attacked from abroad - we defend him. When the Ukrainian people criticize and protest Zelensky we join in to kick is ass. That's the mark of a person who truly loves and supports Ukraine.

@AdrianP_doc Finally you woke up. FYI there are no evidence that he staying in Kiev, and the video that he made in the first days of the invasion was proven to be a green screen. There is nothing brave in that clown.

I am getting sick of this cult of personality for Zelensky among some western Ukraine supporters and they way they talk down to Ukrainians and Eastern Europeans when we point out he's not that great. The man came to power on a populist platform backed by some of the most corrupt people in Ukraine's history. He surrounded himself with incompetent and corrupt officials between 2019 and 2022. His defense minister before 2022 was weak and stalled vital weapons procurement. Yes, with the full scale invasion he was brave to stay in Kyiv and his ability to unite the country and get support from abroad is undeniable and extraordinary. But his habits and instincts as a politician are essentially authoritarian: keep a closed circle, low transparency, reward loyalty not competence, remove any potential rivals, play political games to subvert legal procedure. These habits were less noticeable in war time from outside but they were always there and Ukrainians could see them. But after 7 years with almost absolute power and not elections in sight, he is starting to forget that he's a servant of the people (pun intended) and not a king. This is about more than just Fedorov. Zelensky wants to protect the corrupt and incompetent and remove a potential rival. There shouldn't be elections till the war is over as per the Ukrainian constitution but he should step aside when elections are finally held. In the meantime, it's up to regular Ukrainian people to hold him accountable in the street.

@AdrianP_doc He was doing more harm than good to Ukraine from the very start. Most of you chimps couldn’t see through his propaganda campaigns, and he was allowed to literally do, what ever the fk he wanted too. Power corrupts, ultimate power corrupts even faster.

I think we have reached the point where Zelensky is doing more harm than good to Ukraine... I'll accept counter arguments only from Ukrainians, thank you or people who actually live or fight there.

Romania and Poland are not going to join the anti-ballistic missile coalition with Ukraine. Two of the biggest countries in Europe who are the most exposed to such a threat chose to sit this one out. Poland is busy litigating 80 year old grievances and enabling fascists and Romania is busy not having a functional government. We are led by imbeciles.
