@xo_laurakay @Dylan_Sandas @NYPDnews Every city handles multiple millions in the street. Philly had a 5 mile route with 2million people. This was <1 mile. Terrible planning. First responders deal with thanksgiving day parade.

@Dylan_Sandas @NYPDnews Nah extending for everyone to see wouldn't be feasible. Changing the route & adding bleachers would've made more sense. But a million people in the streets would be too overwhelming for the 1st responders on hand.

@dallascowboys @blockchain People will hate but this is a solid trade. Parsons has been a distraction for a while now and was nowhere to be seen in the playoffs. He has peaked; it was never worth it to pay him a ridiculous contract Two first rounders + dumping that financial and emotional baggage = easy W

Ok so hold up… let me get this straight here First the administration said there was no list in the Epstein files and released an edited video of Epsteins cell before his supposed death, Trump then went off on a reporter and told them all to forget about the whole Epstein files and to stop talking about them. then Trump claimed there was a list in the Epstein files but there just a “Democrat hoax” including the files and as a pathetic attempt to avoid looking suspicious he said he wasn’t in the files cause if he was they would have used that against him at some point, completely disregarding the fact that many powerful people are on the list including the democrats and this contradicts his previous claim that it was a “democrat hoax” cause if that was true surely they would have used it as ammunition against him during his court trial and during the election. Then he called his supporters “weak and stupid” for doing the “democrats work” and said he doesn’t want their support anymore, all for simply asking to release the files and follow through on his promises. Now @MikeJohnson said the the democrats doctored the files to implicate Trump, which contradicts what Trump said that he isn’t in the files cause if he was they would have used that against him, so Mike is on the files or not? Can anyone else see the fucking fliping flops, and the hard defense these people are doing that’s only making them look like even bigger liars and defenders for pedophiles? These people legitimately think we are all fucking stupid and won’t notice or pick up on this flip flop defense, how can anyone with a functional brain trust these people?

Speaker Mike Johnson claimed that the Epstein files may have been doctored by the Biden administration to implicate Trump. Follow: @AFpost x.com/Ronxyz00/statu…

@reinhardNFL @ArifHasanNFL As an Eagles fan, it’s interesting to see the impact of the Jaelon Reagor pick on their draft strategy. Eagles have consistently gone universal, bpa approach since that draft. Prior to that there was a lot of variance.

@auren @beauknowstruth 1. You listed a single affluent sport. That doesn’t represent athletes. 2. Your take implies you care more about someone learned in high school than at Harvard. Harvard educates students. 3. The lessons athletes learn to work with a team is a critical education no student gets

@beauknowstruth most athletes at elite colleges are much richer than the non-athletes. my guess is that the average net-worth of the parents of the harvard sailing team is $300M

Recruited athletes at Harvard for the class of 2027 had an average SAT score of 1368, compared to over 1540 for non-athletes—a staggering 170-point difference. Yet, most Division I athletes proudly list their sport on their résumé, effectively signaling, "I likely have a lower IQ than my classmates, with whom I’m competing for this job." And let’s not forget, many of these athletes come from affluent families who could easily afford top-tier test prep. To put it in perspective, a 1368 SAT score is below the median at every top-25 college. At schools like Rice, Emory, Notre Dame, Michigan, UCLA, and WashU, it would land in the bottom quarter. A solid score? Sure. But at the elite level, it’s not particularly impressive. Employers love hiring athletes, but is it worth a 170-point SAT trade-off? That’s roughly equivalent to a 12-point difference in IQ—a meaningful gap. So why do employers make the trade? Presumably, they believe athletes bring hard-to-quantify qualities like grit, teamwork, and an unstoppable drive to win. What’s your take? Is the trade-off justified, or are we overvaluing athletic prowess in the professional world?

@dlolley_pgh Not sure why you said “overall the defense played well” - I’m curious why you think that’s. They gave up 400+ yards, were on the field for 71 plays, and allowed the Eagles to have a 21 play 10.5 minute game clock ending drive. The offense had the ball for five minutes in the 2nd
