@kamelito It's really not that bad as in this review, the case is sturdy and issues with the keyboard or a battery lid that falls off is not something I'm experiencing.

@TheAmazingWJV We just learned five minutes ago that actually their international shipping system fell over because ANOTHER brand launched a major product at the same time as ours. Super frustrating to say the least. But if you no longer want a Playdate we totally understand!

@playdate Sorry, it was worth pre-ordering given the “season of games” USP, but that falls pretty flat now. Hopefully you can carry this into some of kind of healthy ecosystem. I will consider ordering at some point if that’s the case.

@JAsfour04 @playdate You have to wait a few months, relax. The initial orders are shipping December, so the 2022 ones probably in February or so.

@playdate Just to be clear, I'm not asking for a magical solution, but the wording of a "slight issue" does leave a sour note for those (or at least for me) who were pushed back to 2022.

@frankcifaldi That idea disintegrated quite quickly after this botched launch. Too few units and thus scalping, and many people that were on time missed out due to a bug in the shipping calculator.

What excites me about Playdate is not any of the games tbh, it's the idea that an entire community will be playing all the same games, at the same time, on a schedule. It's video games distributed like weekly Marvel shows that we all talk about together.

@ingnl vandaag een en/of geopend, wij beide aanzienlijke bedragen overgeboekt, maar nu is overschrijven via web en app (ook terug naar eigen rekening) niet meer mogelijk. Gebeld en gedaan, maar weinig geruststelling, zeker met een betaaltermijn in het verschiet. Kan ik meer doen?

@luc_nieuwenhuis @PostNL Ben wel benieuwd wat de respons was, ik heb dit nu inmiddels ook. En een andere verzending laat zich inmiddels ook al een week op zich wachten.

@PostNL ik heb nu een aantal zendingen met status onbekend, en die zendingen worden nu blijkbaar ook teruggestuurd?! Dit is echt enorm vervelend als je zoals mij bent opgedraaid voor de verzendkosten, afgezien van het feit dat je graag de inhoud ook tegemoet ziet. Zie PB!

@PostNL meerdere pakketjes zijn nu toch wel erg lang onderweg en vervallen in een ‘onbekend (binnen 3 werkdagen)’ status - helaas zijn die inmiddels voorbij. DM’tje gestuurd!
