I think Castle is a solid Shai defender but gets overrated in the role because of Wemby. Shai has the most elite counters in the league because he’s both the best driver and best midrange artist in the world. When you have Wemby behind you, you only gotta worry about half of his scoring arsenal

Feels like the right time to bring this back. Here’s Alex Caruso talking about guarding Wemby a few months ago: “Offensively, he’s still really raw. If he gets within five feet of the basket, he can just dunk it, or grab it and put it in, so just working early. Against any person who is a big and good in the league you try and do your work early and get them away from the basket. Chet had a wide open put back to win the game and Wemby dragged him down. Shai had the breakaway to make it a 2 possession game, got mugged and no call. Chet got tossed out of bounds on the rebound right before the Wemby 3. No call. This is why OKC lost the game
