But we had to make a series of frontend architectural changes to actually execute it. - Last Nov, BaseUI shipped detached triggers 🙏 - In Jan, migrated from Radix Dialogs to Base UI - Updated Dialogs to use GlobalDialog parent - Migrated from CMDK to Base UI Autocomplete - Added DialogMorph with crossblur to transition Per usual Joe doing incredible work here on both the design system and crafting the details that we all believe make software wonderful to use.

Whilst building the Base UI Data Grid, we've been testing its capabilities by recreating real interfaces: 1. A music player inspired by Spotify's desktop app. Not your typical data grid, but it requires sorting, row selection, virtualization, and focus management.
