@braveshomer27 He has been alot better about laying off some of the more egregious balls too. His defense has looked markedly better as well. If he just hits some homeruns and played solid defense he will be fine. Need to see Harris get going.

Need to throw out some savant stats on Ozzie, he has a lot of soft contact because he expands a lot, but knows how to work the magic wand to flick them in for hits. If he increases his walk rate to what it was last year with what he is doing now, you’re looking at a 2018 Ozzie that’s a little better. 2018 Ozzie was very solid if you’re wondering.

In 2023, his xwOBA 17 points than his wOBA (49th-luckiest player in baseball) In 2026, so far, his xwOBA is 67 points lower than his wOBA (17th-luckiest hitter in baseball)

@baseballfan30 Yes he is. He’s got a .200 BABIP with a 53.8% GB% and his Contact% is down 9% from last year. He’s taking his walks though which is a good sign. he’s trying to pull everything right now which is not his game. He’ll get right soon enough too

Mauricio Dubón is a massive upgrade over Nick Allen and is getting paid less than what the Braves were paying David Fletcher in 2025 🙏🏼 Dubón gives the Braves a true utility player with elite defense. In 2025, he saw time at third base, shortstop, second base, left field, center field and right field

The #Braves today selected RHP Ian Hamilton to the major league roster and designated RHP Osvaldo Bido for assignment. The club also optioned LHP Hayden Harris to Triple-A Gwinnett following last night’s game. Additionally, RHP Spencer Strider tonight begins a rehabilitation assignment with High-A Rome.
