He feels like the type of heel that, given an extended run as champion, would elevate the title and whoever eventually beats him. But, damn, let him cook for a while and stop making him lose in silly ways.

I hope WWE fully commits to Gunther at some point. He's a pure heel who can genuinely generate heat. His style is convincingly savage, but for whatever reason, they keep having him lose to underdogs with questionable finishes that chip away at his aura.
