v1.12.0 Mythos Router now has an external agent SWD interface. External agents can submit structured file actions through mythos swd apply using --stdin or --file, with --json output for automation. No model call is made in this path. Mythos Router acts as the execution boundary: it validates input, applies changes through SWD, verifies filesystem state, rolls back failed writes, and writes receipts. Also included: • external agent metadata in receipts • fail handling for blocked external actions • sensitive path protection

If the AI claims “I’ve updated file X,” Mythos Router immediately checks your actual computer. If the AI is lying → it is forced to correct itself (up to 2 attempts). If it still fails, the AI gives up and you take over. 2/ Safer from AI mistakes - Has Dry Run mode (preview changes first, then execute). - Token/budget limits to control costs. - Creates a MEMORY md file that records everything the AI has done, so it doesn’t lose context. 3/ How to use it Install via terminal (npx mythos-router chat), then chat with the AI as usual but now with much better control. In the future, this token will be used for extra features (API, Nexus beta, etc.).
