@BlackOutCos In other mmos, helping is usually more hands on than ff14. In ff14, you never really know what quest they are on nor can you share quest if you're starting a new character. The adventure is pretty insular to a single player's quest log, they're kinda right.

The more i cook, the more i feel like there is indeed a singular "best way" a food should be prepared. I thought i was supposed to see the world differently, with variety and nuance. But no. Chicken is best fried. There has been no contest, never was.

I do believe that some annoying mechanics can exists in games. HMs may mess with movesets, but it forces ppl to think more about team comp more outside of battle. In WoW, having a dungeon queue stops people from communicating with each other, antithetical to it's social nature

Sometimes we see "quality of life changes" in video games. Sometimes they ease a process, but there is a limit to the point where it takes the identity away from the game. I see people enjoying Pkmn Champions because the movesets are not optimal, scrappy battles with niche Pkmn

Tezcatara genuinely has so many bad options as an ancient. Brightest Flame, although I'd never take it at least is a lot of energy. But Pumpkin Candle only lasting one floor? Or wax relics leaving after 12 combats? Temporary buffs when others have better, permanent ones.

I really do think it was for the best to end it on the✌️. The new timeline end was too good for Denji.

As part 2 came out, it felt like commentary around those that like Chainsaw Man a bit too much, almost like the author was mad he had to make a part 2. I took a break when the Falling Demon was intro'd, partly because it did feel like Denji ain't learn shit and still chasing tail

I think I started reading Chainsaw Man around the resurrection of the Gun Devil, like 3/4 into Part 1. Enjoyed it enough and saw it as an allegory of the author trying to achieve his manga dreams, it ended well.
