But there may be a deeper logic behind the targeting of Dimona, the site of Israel's secret nuclear weapons plant. The hundreds of millions of dollars Trump received from the Adelsons came with the expectation that he would initiate war on Iran on Israel's behalf. Now, as the war Trump launched on Israel's behalf drags him deeper into a quagmire, the prospect of the US or Israel fulfilling Adelson's nuclear wish must be taken seriously.
