@MarkRJones1970 @CrashOnlineUK I much preferred Sinclair User (for the first 3 years anyway). At the time, computers were new and exciting - it felt like anything was possible with them and SU covered everything. Loved Crash of course, but I’ll always be fond of SU.

4a comparison let's look at3 issues of #SinclairUser & compare them 2the equivalent issues of #Crash, featuring the wonderful art of #OliFrey. There just is no comparison. The cover was really 1st thing that made me notice Crash, they still stand up today #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming

I got a bundle of #SinclairUser magazines from 83 to 86 yesterday. Gawd, some of those early covers are awful. They look like they had a 5 min meeting to decide what to put then took another 5 to take the photo! #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming

@loudscotsbloke Had one back in the day. The sound chip was nice but it wasn’t much of a leap over the original and it ran too hot. The original 48k rubber key will always be my favourite. Just a perfect design and really functional.
