GM ☕️ The Last Drop is now listed for auction at @TransientLabs 0.60 ETH reserve and 2 ETH buyout. The Last Drop is the first work in my series Becomings where artworks can exist in a state that can sustain incompleteness and errors from sketches to developed artworks, without pressure or promise of completion. The Last Drop. This started as a study of an everyday object while dealing with personal matters and caffeine consumption. A simple coffee mug that developed into something more in the process. This contract was created as a spontaneous result of the ideas distilled together during writing a post about the process. The Last Drop contains all the save files of the drawing up to the minting day and continues to update with progress. The current drawings are made with Windows Paint as its been my preferred program for the simplicity of features, certain challenge that comes with it, but also some nostalgic elements. It is possible that this work will continue with other tools or mediums in the future. I just added save file number 53 to this drawing. I have also made inscriptions consisting of posts made on X about the process, which may or may not continue. You may think of the art as a folder that contains the different states of the work and my inscriptions about it, perhaps even this announcement soon. The blockchain is a key element in enabling all of this especially with the Transientlabs contract. Where does the artwork end its difficult to say, my understanding of the work is evolving with the process of creation and hopefully interactions with people.
