@fw_Badman Dude, they call them dragons. It's pretty simple. It's a fictional world with creatures. They don't exist in unison with other fictional worlds. If wyverns are a thing in GoT they would call them wyverns. These are dragons in this universe

@VisualFidelity It's not like there will be anything specific to the PS6. This generation had games for PS4 for years. Maybe if innovation would occur but it's just the same games. People have backlogs too. Just need a reason to not getting the latest tech or the newest launches

Games you own can be played without PS+ You can buy games without PS+ The only reason for PS+ is to have online for non-free gaming. GTA VI will be single player, so no PS+ needed. People just need a reason

@Puertorock77_ Most are just slobbing Sony's knob. I've been saying digital games and physical games are not much different. They both have licenses that can be removed. Ubisoft EULA required physical games to be uninstalled and destroyed if license is revoked. Removal of choice is the issue

@SirohPC @hadmyback @LogenLovesMusic I wanted to follow up on this because I read how Ubisoft has a EULA that requires physical copies to be uninstalled and destroyed. Crazy. I think people are misunderstanding the issue. The issue is the removal of choice. Games have always been licensed physical or not

@NazRaiGaming Holy consumerism. At least say you got it on discount. This made me want to play Ghost of Yotei, let me start a remote download to my ps5 while I'm at work so it's ready for me. Hopefully the publisher doesn't revoke our licenses within the next 24 hours

This is my copy of Ghost of Yotei -As you can see it's still sealed -I've had this game since launch -The only reason I brought it knowing full well that I will not get around to it anytime soon is because it came in physical - Now without physical what reason do I have to buy a game that I have no intention of playing anytime soon?? @Sony @PlayStation @PlayStationUK @SuckerPunchProd

@earthtolydia I don't like the prices, I know digital for PS is horrible with no price drops ever. I wish more people supported stores that sold physical versions so it could be sustainable, but I think most people just don't care enough

@bassdropbs But again, if initial price points weren’t so high then you’d see more people buying day one rather than waiting for the price to come down in second-hand stores 🤷‍♀️ Sony are incredibly stingy with sales too, it hurts their own pocket by driving more people to second hand.

This has never happened and as the article you provided for us states, it would impact physical copies as well. So, as I said, you can play your games offline and own it as much as your discs

So, as I been saying, the digital game is pretty much the exact same as the physical.

If you get banned, you can't play your disc games online. If they revoke the license, you can't play it on disc either. So, they already own everything brotha.

@earthtolydia True. But also second-hand is another reason why they are going digital. So, it's a double-edged sword. I feel if GTA VI was physical, sold out, scalping would've been too much I feel like on steam I buy so many games on sale but with PS I fully play the games I buy more often.

@bassdropbs That’s simply not true. Physical media has boomed since Covid, the caveat is that most of it is second-hand because games are simply too expensive for many people (low-income workers/parents/gifters) to buy at full RRP. If costs went down, first-point physical sales would go up.
