I'm all for type checking in the application code, where everything *should* work according to plan. But in my test files, I feel like I shouldn't have that much constraints. Do you disable TS rules in your tests?

In TypeScript, how do you test complex objects without passing all the required boilerplate? I want to test a case when input.name equals 'Tim', but I don't care about input.unrelatedProperty1 and input.unrelatedProperty2. Still, they are in the type def, so TS yells

Coucou twitter, existe-t'il un outil en JS qui permette de valider le format d'une requete http/json? En ELM par exemple, on décrit le format attendu et si en parsant, ca matche pas, ca pète. La meme chose en react serait very cool !
