“Not diagnosed but pretty sure” getting louder and louder as my diet converts to solely fat free yogurt + vegetables; wardrobe overtaken by tight black shirts and baggy pants in a very particular shade of green

@baynoni @buccocapital IMO, it's the act of writing the note that commits it to memory. This is just scanning something. This is another example of ppl wrongly comparing today to 70s. People didn't spend $150 on a bookmark. You ripped the top off a pack of smokes and voila you have a bookmark!

my number 1 agent tip is "make the agent prove it understands things". everything boils down to that. the UVs on this book are the best example I have. if you don't do this and then ask the model to do something like "put some text on the front cover" it's going to go wrong

What if we built one big data center in the middle of the country, instead of all the small ones? Maybe so big it reaches all the way to heaven?

@amuraivel @EU_Commission Your suggestion does not address the underlying issue. There are no station-by-station bottlenecks. The problem is at system level and regard system compatibility.

Yeah! The EU knows how to raise ticket prices. Economically speaking, the EU is creating an obligatory insurance product, where the risks of train-travel are costed into the ticket. The real work would be to sort out the bottlenecks in the railways, station-by-station, country-by-country to create a fast transversal link like Beijing–Shanghai or the Shinkansen E5 / H5. Instead, EU gets more senseless regulation....it's always a "rule" that solves things in their world, not technology and industrial prowess.

🚆 One journey. One ticket. Full rights. Travelling by train across Europe can still be complicated, especially across borders and multiple providers. We want to change that. Our new package will make it easier ⬇️

Supply side fatally overrate the space availability among consumers for mass adoption levels re: recreational. For business purposes, non tactility of device is alienating for an already boring task and doesn’t allow for modular replacement protocols at scale. No keyboard vending machines, IT would have to attend each malfunction personally
Andrew Côté@Andercot

The absolute non-takeoff of VR and AR is probably one of the big upsets in consumer electronics history Pretty much everyone thought this would be huge and it sort of just isn't

the pay was high because of the holiday, not the strain. Vid shows a very particular part of the job tho. Hoppers had to be brought over and connected to the conveyor; likely further down on the belt those packages are being scanned by some device under the band or manually by a person/bot; there's waiting periods and resets as trucks are rotated out. It's not complicated work, but it requries situational awareness and idk if the bot has that

@baynoni From your time keeping the flow at a manageable rate for loaders at those $20/hr holiday jobs in Ohio distribution centers, how do you see the Helix-02 robots handling the same pressures over a full shift?

@u_m_a_m_i Hand to god got $20/hr over the holidays doing this at distribution centers in Ohio there’s either humans or other robots on the other side of that belt loading the packages into trucks. Job is to keep things flowing at a manageable rate for the loaders

Yeah I know, its sorting it or something, or not, or maybe it's just doing a load of bullshit. Is this supposed to be impressive? No doubt robots are going to take over jobs like this. This video demonstrates nothing.
