The Bay College womens basketball team was in danger of having its long winning streak broken, trailing Muskegon by 16 points in the second half. But then, Ashlee Burchette took over. Here is some of her work as the Norse survived and stayed in first place.

Yeszirrr! The Bay College Norse men’s basketball team has its highest ranking in program history, checking in at #19 in this week’s NJCAA Division Two national poll. The guys play downstate at Kirtland Community College tonight at 7:30.

This is a great individual honor for @AshleeBurchette, but she would be the first one to tell you this one is a team award. We were not good at beginning of the year. Now we are dangerous. The improvement of every player is crazy and that is why Ash got this award!

Well-deserved. This TEAM has improved so much, which is why Ash was able to earn our first player of the week honor!
