I've never been happier to see my favorite team get walloped. I went into the final game down .0002 in FG%. All my guys were done. My opponent had Poeltl left (he had to start him because I was winning FG% when the Toronto game locked, OG missed a shot after the lock). All Poeltl had do was shoot 50%+, something he had done in 32 of 36 games coming into this one, and I was finished. He misses a hook early and, doesn't take another shot the rest of the game, and doesn't play after the mid-third because the Raptors no-showed this one. I win FG% by .0004 and move on. I feel kind of bad because the guy I beat is about to podium for the eighth time in 16 years without picking up a win. The king of third-place finishes. It looked like all the stars were aligning for him too. He was the #1 seed, got an all-time Luka week that swung multiple categories, had perfect health (his only missed game was the surprise DNP-CD for Minott), had a big schedule advantage, and due to injuries, the finals would likely be a layup. However, I don't feel that bad because this was revenge for giving me the worst beat of my life two years ago in the semis. Going into the final half of the final game of the week, I was up four steals. Conley gets four steals in a half and I get knocked out via the tiebreaker. That one stung real bad.

Porzingis was PISSED at Podz for not passing him the ball WIDE OPEN... Steve Kerr even yelled at Podz: "PASS THE BALL!"
