This moment from last night's live is sitting with me.
Jin had already decided to enlist. He wasn't waiting, he had a plan. It was Namjoon who held on to him and said "Hyung, we have to do this. We don't know when we'll be able to perform again."
He stayed. He took the criticism from Koreans who thought he was delaying. He never explained himself publicly. Because the real reason was this: one last stage together, before everything changed.
That's not someone who needed to be convinced to do his duty. That's someone who quietly put everyone else first — and let people misunderstand him while doing it.

Talking about thier last Busan concert 🐹My actual plan was not do it and enlist in the military right away but Namjoon held on to me and said ‘Hyung, we have to do this. If we don’t do it now, we dont know when we'll be able to perform' 🐹(so i was like) Ahhhh Namjoona 🐥I'm sorry. What we discussed that time was that we sould say our goodbyes before we go to military. 🐨 Yes we really needed to 🐥Yes, we really talked about it a lot 🐿 So much time has gone by (since then) 🐥Was planning to enlist right away (without the Busan concert that time) 🐹 Namjoon really held on to me and said 'hyung we really have to do this.' 🐨It was becose there’s always a chance we might not be able to make a comeback.. 🐹Right 🐥I/we are really grateful for you being considerate (that time), hyung. I mean it. (And 4 of them started to talk over one another and hard to understand and Jin said something like being considerate of one another) 🐻 For sure, we are so loud/noisy..
