The usual suspects are angry and annoyed that the two-child benefit cap will be lifted. I’m delighted because it will help me and other low income families and families on benefits. It will also help reduce child poverty. My only slight disappointment is that we have to wait until April 2026 to get the money. We need the support now.

The most mind-boggling part of the budget was when Tory MPs literally GOT ANGRY about Labour reversing their CRUELEST policy. Their 2 child benefit cap PUNISHED children. By scrapping this, we are lifting 450,000 children OUT OF POVERTY🌹 That is CHANGE. That is DELIVERY.
