Just discovered that Textwrangler -- something I use for almost all my HTML coding -- has been replaced by a *subscription model* @bbedit, which insults my open source soul. I'd pay for it once. I won't pay for it, over and over again, forever. No.

@bbedit Thank you very much for answering my tweet. I just tried to reproduce, but it now works perfectly. Maybe it’s because I just updated BBEdit? 🤷‍♂️ Works now… so: 🥳 (editing ZIP content is awesome on it’s own, btw!)

BBEdit is very well praised from many people and it’s awesome for many use cases (edit file in a ZIP, for example) but it can’t find anything, if the text is only a long line of text 😕

I was just hired by Twitter with no notice. After decades of performing standup, I am proud and excited to be Twitter’s new lead engineer. I bring months of pre-Dreamweaver HTML experience from the aughts to my new job. Sleeping in the office tonight, AMA.

Just upgraded to macOS Ventura. Gives a lot of confidence seeing the Applications folder sorted by name. Some highlights: TestFlight BBEdit Xcode OmniFocus GarageBand

Might be a dumb question but Ive never really seen this before. I am used to this view, but have no idea how to get it back:

@bbedit I have several unsaved docs and its been nice using the auto save feature to keep temporary notes this way. I have multiple files open, and for some reason the UI has lost its left side menu and only displays a single doc at a time. How do you toggle between these views?
