one thing about the modern biometric passport system and centralized immigration software is it means these small mercies done out in the field by one person's principled stand aren't possible anymore. you literally cannot be the modern Raoul Wallenberg for technical reasons.

@Nameles09346132 yes, i realized there is a gap between military and civilian leadership after the controversy with pezeshkian's declarations some weeks ago, but i also don't think an embassy would put out statements without an expectation that they can help their cause

Btw since Madeline (?) Brought up ADHD + Masking i thought I'd share my system in case someone needs help remembering. I forget my keys + wallet all the time, so I use a heavy carabiner to hang them on the front door. If I forget and try to leave, they'll fall and make noise.
