The Media killed Charlie Kirk.
Every “movie” needs a protagonist and an antagonist.
Every…time the pendulum swings, “the evil one” is leading the headlines in the Media. As a flexible moderate, every four years, all I hear about is how Evil the other side is, in both directions. Each inflaming the other into a frothing, and fomenting frenzy.
The Media killed Charlie Kirk.
Charlie Kirk wasn’t one of them. The media couldn’t control him — and he was unstoppable.
He was a true Christian, and that’s all I need to know about the man.
He said ideologies could be evil, but not people. He said your thought or idea was stupid, but not you yourself.
Charlie doesn’t seem like one of those people. I never had the privilege of knowing him. I didn’t watch his podcast. I wasn’t even following him on @X. I just quietly said “go you” from the sidelines.
The Media killed Charlie Kirk.
I identify with Charlie because he really did love people, and he really tried to be patient with people. I do my best to do the same like every true Christian.
He started conversations, opened dialogue, and did his best to be polite about it. When he tells someone they’re wrong, it’s because he Loves them and wants them to see it his way—if not only so he could attempt to bring them to Jesus Christ and Eternal life.
Not by force — with a microphone.
The Media killed someone I wish I could be.
I wish I had the guts to Love God that much.
I wish I had the courage to speak my mind freely and tell them Jesus Loves them.
The Media killed Charlie Kirk.
And… we… watched.
Lord, have mercy on us, depraved sinners.
